Heard a coupla gr8 stories...
A farmer goes to his king...he has a present for him. Its his best carrot grown in his own field. Its a beauty and he figured it would be an honour to present it to the King.
The King is overjoyed at the kind gift and thanks the man. In fact he offers him other lands that he can work to produce crops.
A noble man hears about this and thinks about it...
He goes to the King...and presents him with a horse...The king thanks him for it and goes about his business. The nobleman hovers a little and the wise king, percieving what the nobleman was thinking, adds "You know the farmer gave me a carrot, but you just gave yourself a horse".
Jesus asks Peter amongst others - "Would you carry a rock for me?" Peter says "yes - sure!" He picks up a pebble and walks on with Jesus. Later Jesus turns to the followers and turns the rocks into food for each of them to eat...Peter ends up with a pebble sized portion!
Again later he asks Peter to carry a rock for him and he chooses a big one this time! He struggles on with it until Jesus tells them to lay them down and walk on.
"So why did you get me to carry that for you?" Peter complains...
"Were you carrying it for me Peter?" Jesus replies.
